Grabbing towels and running to the scene, Moores and another neighbor attempted to administer first aid while on the phone with 911 dispatchers. He performed chest compressions and worked to keep Patel conscious and breathing until emergency responders arrived.
“They were able to talk me through what I should be doing,” Moores said. “We did everything we could to make sure that he got in that ambulance safely… We hoped we did the best thing we could do in the situation.”
